After leaving school I initially studied Graphic Design at the Glasgow College of Building & Printing. However after taking a part time job with a glass studio I quickly realised that this was the field in which I wanted to build a career.

I then undertook  a 5 year apprenticeship specialising in stained and leaded glass. During this time I worked on many varied and prestigious projects, including the restoration of the stained glass windows in Glasgow Cathedral, learning traditional glasswork techniques and gaining invaluable experience.

Having completed my apprenticeship I wanted to broaden my experience and so took a job with a glass studio in Atlanta, Georgia. On returning to the UK I then worked as a freelance artist working for various clients/studios before I opened my current Studio in Kirkintilloch near Glasgow in 2001.

I now undertake a mix of both restoration and new commissions for a variety of clients including churches, private clients and businesses, particularly those in the hospitality trade.
